This is a tube folding version chambered in .223. The Valmet is the only assault rifle to pass the Alaskan State Trooper Trials. It went up against the FAL, our M-16, The FNC, to name some of the other models. The stock is made from tube steel that side folds ,and locks into place. The Valmet is one of the smoothest AK’s on the market.
